La charte graphique, c’est quoi?

C’est un document de travail qui permet de détailler des règles de reproduction et d’utilisation du logotype destinées aux professionnels de l’entreprise (des communications) ainsi que de tous les experts de la chaîne graphique. Ainsi, le logotype peut être utilisé dans de meilleures conditions et permet de s’assurer de la cohérence des communications et de l’homogénéité de l’identité visuelle.

Sections de la charte graphique

Première de couverture : Elle est produite en fonction des aspects graphiques du logotype dans une composition aérée.

Sommaire : Il ouvre le document et il est fait afin que l’utilisateur de la charte graphique puisse y trouver l’information recherchée.

Logotype : On présente l’image du logotype final. On l’accompagne d’un texte explicatif dans lequel on explique l’interprétation des signes graphiques et des symboles utilisés.

Typographie : On justifie la ou les polices de caractères choisies. Nous y intégrons l’image de tous les caractères de toutes les polices sélectionnées en bas de casse et en capitales.

Couleur : On y représente chacune des couleurs utilisées. Nous y indiquons les numéros des couleurs Pantone ainsi que les mélanges quadrichromiques et en RGB.

Zone d’exclusion : Nous y indiquons une zone de sécurité où il ne peut y avoir un autre élément placé. (Souvent 50% de la taille du logotype).

Déclinaisons : Nous y présentons l’utilisation du logotype sur différents supports, en noir et blanc, en inversé, en signalétique, sur les véhicules, sur les objets promotionnels, etc.

Recommandations : Conseils sur la taille minimum et maximum du logotype, sur l’utilisation du logotype sur différents fonds de couleur, sur des photographies ainsi que dans différents types de mise en page, etc.

Interdits : Nous y détaillons les usages proscrits à propos des incompatibilités de couleurs et de formes.

Annexes : Présentation du logotype sur différents supports courants : papeterie d’affaires (lettre à entête, enveloppe), factures, catalogues, site internet, etc.
